For many years 'Goodness Gracious' has been building up their archive of local photographs and are particularly proud of the Walter Rose collection of glass-plates taken around the turn of the century.
Comprising over 800 negatives this collection is the life's work of Walter J.Rose (1857-1954) of Westcott , near Dorking in Surrey . The vast majority of the pictures are chiefly of local interest and many of these are charming photographs showing local tradesmen, village life, local events and portraits.
